Documenting His Creative Legacy
Scott was quite the renaissance man and one of his myriad talents was that he was a gifted artist. In the 1980s and 90s, his political cartoons appeared in The Washington Times, Art Forum, Regardies, Indian Country Today, The Lakota Nation Journal, and exhibited at NBC Studios Gallery, National Press Club, and the old and new Collector Galleries. As part of honoring his legacy, his daughter Simone is cataloging and archiving his artwork. It is the family’s hope to eventually have an exhibition and publish the works in a coffee table book for friends and family.
Do you have some of Scott’s artwork? Let us know! We’d like to ensure his archive is as comprehensive as possible—both political and non-political. Thank you in advance for your help with this meaningful legacy project.
